Becoming England’s Greenest Region
An ambitious collaboration was launched today for the North East with the aim of “Becoming England’s Greenest Region”. Our friends at VONNE, North East LEP and Youth Focus North East are among an impressive list of strategic partners forming the North East England Climate Change Coalition.
“We are a cross-sector initiative bringing the region together to tackle climate emergency, reverse ecological collapse and deliver an urgent and just transition.”

The launch of the website comes after months of work from partners across sectors to develop a number of thematic work streams that feed into the steering group.
